Rush University College of Nursing cordially invites you to attend a web information session to speak with Emiliann Thomas, a current GEM student, to learn more about the Master’s Entry in Nursing (MSN) for Non-Nurses: Generalist Entry Master’s (GEM) Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) program.
Emiliann Thomas is currently a student in the Master’s Entry in Nursing (MSN) for Non-Nurses: Generalist Entry Master’s (GEM) Clinical Nurse Leader program at Rush, with an expected graduation date of December 2017. Emiliann holds the position of Student Ambassador for the College of Nursing and is currently a Nursing Assistant II on 13 West, a General Medicine Unit at Rush University Medical Center.
Emiliann is from San Francisco, CA and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University – Fresno. Before joining the GEM program she worked at Planned Parenthood as a Health Educator. Emiliann has also worked as Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program Leader as a classroom facilitator presenting on pregnancy prevention and sexually transmitted disease prevention to 6th grade students in the Oakland, CA. In her free time, Emiliann enjoys riding bikes with her partner and exploring Chicago.
